Presenter Information
Thank you for serving as a presenter at the 2025 NeMTSS Summit! Below are important details and tips to support your session.
EventCombo
This year’s NeMTSS Summit will use the EventCombo website and app for scheduling information.
- Bookmark the NeMTSS EventCombo webpage.
- All presenters will be emailed instructions for how to access the event by September 30th.
- Check that your session information is accurate and upload a headshot if you would like.
- You can also download the app to access information on your cellphone.
Preparing your presentation
Presentation Software & Formatting
- You may use whichever presentation software you are most comfortable with to prepare your presentation.
- We recommend using a 16:9 format to fit the conference center screens best.
- You may submit a PDF of your slides for audience members to follow along with before or after the summit by filling out this form. Slides submitted before October 3rd will be shared with participants before the summit.
- We recommend including your contact information on the closing slide.
- Evaluation change: Links to session evaluations will be accessible through the EventCombo app this year and moderators will give participants instructions on how to submit them. There will not be a summit-branded evaluation slide to include at the end of your presentation like we have done in the past.
NeMTSS Guidance & Branding
For guidance on Nebraska MTSS, you can review our framework document.
If you would like to use NeMTSS graphics (optional), these may be helpful:
You can also find out more about the NeMTSS colors and fonts here if you would like to use them in your presentation (optional): NeMTSS Brand guidelines
Contact Information
Don’t forget to include your contact information in your presentation, many of our participants like to reach out with questions after they have had time to process all the information they learn at the summit!
Presenting at the Younes Center North
Review the map of the Younes Center to help you navigate the conference center.
- Each breakout room will have a small table in the front with a projector that you can hook your laptop into via HDMI cord. Please bring appropriate dongles if you have non-standard outputs.
- Many presenters find it helpful to have a clicker with a laser pointer to advance slides and identify information as they present. If you would like to use one, please bring one that works with your laptop.
- We ask that all presenters wear a microphone while presenting to make the summit more accessible to those who need accommodations.
- There are 15-minute breaks between each session for presenters to begin setting up for the next session.
- NeMTSS and NDE team members will be available in breakout rooms and at the registration desk throughout the summit if you need assistance.
- Please ensure that you have your presentation downloaded to your computer so it is accessible without internet access. Wifi can be spotty in the Younes Center.
- If your session is one of our hybrid sessions, please review these tips for engaging virtual and in person participants simultaneously.
After Your Presentation
- Enjoy the rest of the summit! Your presenter registration covers participating in the summit as well. Please join any other sessions you would like and eat lunch with participants on Thursday and Friday.
- Join us at the networking event on Thursday, Oct. 9 from 4:00-5:30 p.m.
- If you pre-registered, your name tag will have a small gold asterisk on it. If your nametag did not print with the gold asterisk, let an NeMTSS team member know and they will verify that you are on the list.
- If you did not share slides before the summit, please share a PDF of them afterwards for participants to review. You may fill out this form or email files to mtss@unl.edu.
