The WWC report on Leveled Literacy Intervention, highlights the program’s positive effect on general reading achievement, potential positive effect on reading fluency, but no discernable effects on alphabetics for beginning readers. (WWC). This project’s review of the Leveled Literacy Intervention revealed Mixed findings. One study reported positive effects on general reading achievement for elementary students while another study reported statistically significant positive outcomes for kindergarten and grade 1 students only.
