Research Summary
The review of the Read Naturally program by WWC (2103) found the program to have potentially positive effects on general reading achievement, mixed effects on reading fluency, and no discernable effects on alphabetics and comprehension for beginning readers. (WWC) The NeMTSS Literature review indicated minimal to no discernable effect of the Read Naturally program on reading outcome measures for students receiving the intervention.
