Research & Evaluation
Research Summary
The publishers provide internal research of their products. In a literature reviewed conducted by the NeMTSS team, one peer-reviewed article revealed that Edmentum distance learning intervention contributed to achieved growth comparable to benchmark targets in reading for all grades 1st through 8th. Results also suggested Edmentum can achieve significantly greater growth in math in grades 3, 4, 7, and 8 compared to the benchmark achievement targets. No other peer-reviewed articles were found. Therefore, Edmentum meets insufficient evidence as an evidence-based practice.
