Research Summary
Literature review revealed a generally positive effect on both teachers’ skills and behavioral concerns of the students. Specifically, the studies reviewed reported improvements in disruptive classroom behavior and quality of teacher-child relationships. One study found that teachers participating in TCIT showed most increase in reflections and unlabeled praise of students.
