Research & Evaluation
Research Summary
LANGUAGE! Live is an outgrowth of the LANGUAGE! literacy curriculum (which is classified as "Strong" by ESSA). A 2018-2019 study conducted by the publisher showed positive effect sizes for students who utilized the intervention. One peer-reviewed study examining the impact of LANGUAGE! Live on the reading comprehension of middle school students found that students receiving the intervention made positive gains in Lexile scores at post-test. Due to the limited peer-reviewed empirical evidence, there is insufficient evidence to support the efficacy of LANGUAGE! Live at this time.
