Program Description
The High 5s program is designed to provide enrichment, and highly-individualized math instruction to PreK and Kindergartners to prevent fade-out effect often encountered in many early childhood academic enrichment programs. High 5s is a supplemental program and is not intended to replace regular math instruction. Students in the program meet in small-group Kindergarten math clubs.

Research Summary
There is very limited research on the High 5s program to conclude its effects, however the study reviewed by the NeMTSS program indicated potential positive effects of the program for the mathematics achievement of kindergarten students.
