Research Summary
An NeMTSS literature review revealed one study that reported gains in untimed and timed pseudoword reading, oral reading fluency, and symbol imagery; though effects were likely due to control group declines. Another study reported moderate to large effect sizes for gains in reading fluency and basic reading skills following program implementation. However, due to the methodology of these studies, there is insufficient evidence to support the program at this time.
