Program Description
""E.L. Achieve’s mission is to assist educators in equipping English learners for academic achievement through district partnerships. By supporting the adults in the system, we support their students. We launch capacity-building with intensive services and guidance. As local leaders take over, we gradually lessen the support; as needs emerge, we respond with additional support. Our asset-based perspective builds from strengths and takes educators from where they are to where they want to be. The goal is to create and maintain momentum so that our best work becomes how we operate. To ensure successful, in-depth, district-wide use, we work through the varying needs of several phases, from establishing readiness and adopting a new initiative to a thoughtful launch and clearly articulated vision for sustaining the work." Note: EL Achieve is not a specific academic intervention. EL Achieve is an organization that partners with school districts to build an infrastructure for supporting the achievement of English learners in schools. Given that it is not a specific intervention, some of the descriptors will be ""unspecified"" due to individualized services provided to school districts by EL Achieve."

Research & Evaluation
Research Summary
Several case studies conducted by EL Achieve on school districts implementing their framework found that EL students in these schools experienced greater change in ELA achievement than the general population of students. However, due to the lack of peer-reviewed evidence, there is insufficient evidence to support the efficacy of EL Achieve at this time.
