Research & Evaluation
Research Summary
Results from two randomized controlled trials showed statistically significant improvements in academics and behavior in children who participated in the study. Specifically, students who received the program experienced better letter-word identification skills, fewer instances of disruptive behavior, and greater sustained attention compared to students who did not receive the program. Better student teacher relationships and better emotional support of students by teachers was also reported. Additional positive changes were noted in student behavior and classroom management in other studies reviewed.
