Program Length
10 weeks. First 5 weeks consist of small group sessions with students (once a week for 45-60 minutes or twice a week for 30 minutes), twice daily check-ins with a mentor, and adult training. The remaining 5 weeks consist of continued check-ins and availability for consultation with adults.
Program Description
"The Resilience Education Program (REP) is a targeted Tier 2 intervention for students at risk for internalizing concerns, such as depression and anxiety. It is built upon 3 major components: Cognitive-Behavioral Instruction, Check In/Check Out, and Resilient Families."

A literature review revealed several single-case studies and a randomized controlled trial that reported positive overall effects of the program.
