CIP Template: Fall 2022

As part of the NeMTSS team’s coherence work with the Nebraska Department of Education, a revised template has been created to help schools document their continuous improvement efforts.

The new Continuous Improvement Plan (CIP) template captures all areas of continuous improvement to reduce redundancy and ensure coherence across the state, and it is structured to meet all regulatory requirements for Section 009 – Continuous Improvement as set forth in NAC 92 Chapter 10 – Regulations and Procedures for the Accreditation of Schools.

The new template includes space for data analysis, action planning and professional development, along with components needed for the Targeted Improvement Plan (TIP) and opportunities to make connections to other plans for reporting.

Who is the new CIP template for?

The new CIP template is available for all Nebraska schools to use as a resource. NeMTSS Regional Support Leads are available to help schools regardless of where they are in their cycle, including those just starting to fill out a CIP and would like to use the template.

Is the new CIP template required?

No, this is an optional resource and is not required for NeMTSS or accreditation. Schools may choose to use a different CIP template.

How do I access the new CIP template?

The CIP Template (Fall 2022) can be found here via Google Docs. Please make a copy when prompted.
